Liquid Rubber was developed to address the recurring problems encountered by conventional membrane systems. Our products are state of the art, with respect to todays environmental concerns and safe working practices.
The products consist of stable, non toxic, odourless, non-flammable liquid components which do not present a storage or transportation hazard prior to, during or following application.
Liquid Rubber High Build has been formulated for brush or roller application.
High Build is used for total protection of metal, wood, concrete and composite
surfaces. Many current alternatives such as alkyds, urethanes, vinyl and epoxy
based coatings are unsatisfactory due to VOC (Volatile Compound) content.
Therefore many industrialized countries have considered banning all cold
tar and V.O.C based coatings. However, there has been resistance due to the
void that would be created when it appeared there would be no viable substitute,
until now - High Build:
Trowel Grade is a modified elastomeric emulsion specially formulated
for providing a water tight seal around building fixtures, pipes, roof
penetrations or cracks.
Trowel Grade is applied using a trowel; the product fully cures in
24 hours at 200C (700F) and 50% humidity, when applied to appropriate
thickness. Apply in thin coats, allow to dry before applying subsequent
coats to achieved desired thickness. Do not apply at temperatures below
100C or apply to wet or frozen surfaces or directly before rain.
Liquid Rubber Geotextile Reinforcement is used to bridge seams, joints, gaps and holes etc.
Apply a liberal coat of Liquid Rubber to the area to reinforce. Cut a length of reinforcement and place on the Liquid Rubber, press down with a clean paint brush until smooth. Then apply a liberal coat to completely cover the geotextile, allow this to cure until black before overcoat.
